7. Retention Period & Burden of Proof

We generally store your data for 10 years. This corresponds to the statutory retention period under the Swiss Code of Obligations (CO). Even if you request deletion, we are legally obliged to retain certain documents (such as loan applications, powers of attorney, and correspondence) as proof. This serves in particular as evidence in later legal disputes regarding ZEK or Crif inquiries.

8. ZEK and Crif Checks (Creditworthiness Check)

By submitting an inquiry for loans or leasing, you authorize Zagi Group to forward your data to banks. The banks perform credit checks with ZEK (Central Office for Credit Information) and Crif. Please note that entries at ZEK cannot be deleted by us. For this, the customer must submit a request directly to ZEK.
